Definition: Stainless steel quick lock fitting used to connect kegs to beer systems.

Definition: The beer dispense point connected to the counter top. Also known as a beer tower or fount.

Definition: A device used to control gas pressure.

Definition: A handheld beer dispense valve, connected direct to beer tube.

Beer Line Cleaning


Definition: The process of cleaning beer lines, which should be done on a weekly basis with a brewery approved beer line cleaner. See DP1/DP2

Beer Pump Equipment


Definition: A device used to pump beer from the cellar to the beer dispense point. Commonly used to reduce beer gas pressure and consumption.

Definition: Term given to tubes which are bundled together and covered in insulation. Beer and coolant are transferred from the cellar to the bar in beer python.

DP1 / DP2 Beer Line Cleaner


Definition: Australias\’ favourite beer line cleaner, originally developed in the late 60\’s Bracton DP1 / DP2 is used by more hotels and clubs across Australia. Brewery approved by all major brewers for use in Australia, Europe and USA.

Definition: Installed below the beer font, the drip tray collects excess beer.

Drop Lead


Definition: A length of beer tube connecting a FOB detector to the front beer keg.

Flowback


Definition: Term used to refer to returning beer to the keg from the beer lines prior to beer line cleaning.

FOB Detector


Definition: Foam on beer detector. A valve device used to close when the beer keg is empty

Gas Detectors & Monitors


Definition: A safety device used to monitor carbon dioxide levels in a confined space. Required under AS5034.

Glass Rack


Definition: The tray the beer glasses are stored .

Glasswash


Definition: A specially formulated chemical used to clean beverage glasses and polycarbonate between uses. Leaves no residue.

Glycol Chiller


Definition: Beer cooling device used in commercial beer dispense applications. Propylene Glycol is chilled to sub zero temperature and circulates from the cellar through beer python to the beer font and back. The coolant causes the beer font to have a frozen or sweating appearance.

Hybrid Chiller


Definition: Beer cooling device used in small commercial beer dispense applications. A propriorary coolant in a Bracton chiller combining the benefit of icebank reserve of an icebank with sub zero temperatures allowing sub zero beer despense and sweating or frozen beer font.

Ice Bank Chiller


Definition: Beer cooling device used in small commercial beer dispense applications. Water is frozen forming an icebank in a bath, beer flows through tubes submerged in bath to cool beer.

Definition: Acetal push fittings used to connect beer tube.

Keg Coupler


Definition: A device used to connect a keg to the beer systems. MFAB and D Type couplers are the most popular in Australia. Also known as keg taps.
