The Bracton Group is wholly Australian owned and operated by the Hunter family, founders of the Pine ‘O’ Clean brand, the most trusted & respected household hygiene product on Australian retail shelves. Since the conception of Bracton Industries more than 40 years ago, Bracton has consistently developed innovative products for a range of applications and industries.

Bracton Industries
Chemical manufacture for hotel and club industries, supplies via hospitality distributors to around 80% of hotels through across Australia have at least one of our products. Bracton beer line cleaners and associated chemicals are recommended and preferred by all major Australian breweries and hospitality organisations.
Bracton Beverage Systems
Possibly Australia’s most innovative beer dispense equipment manufacturer. Bracton Beer Systems manufactures and represents some of the worlds foremost beer dispense companies. Stocking everything for the cellar to the tap including the latest in energy efficient cooling technologies.

Diversified industrial chemical manufacturer, supplies local government, mining, engineering, education, retail and contractors sectors. SoSafe products available in over twenty countries.

Timeline – A look back at the last decade
1997 – The introduction of beer line cleaning systems into Australia
In 1997, Bracton revolutionised the way draught beer lines were cleaned in Australia. The introduction of the Bracton beer line cleaning system allowed venues to clean beer lines with out the occupational health and safety issues from previous methods. The beer line cleaning system cleans beer lines, whilst saving TIME, LABOUR and GAS/CO2‚ and is still regarded as the safest method of cleaning. Since its introduction, over 35% of venues (with draught beer) through out Australia have installed a Bracton Beer Line Cleaning System.
2001 – Bracton commercial glasswashers
In 2001, Bracton introduced the first glass washer to feature a SOAK‚ cycle for the hygienic maintenance of glassware. This increased presentation across all beer brands and is now sold into venues through Australia’s two largest breweries, Lion Nathan and Fosters Group.
2003 – Bracton Beer Systems
In 2003, Bracton acquired ALLIED BEVERAGE SYSTEMS and commenced manufacturing a complete range of draught beer fittings and equipment. ALLIED was the driving force for the introduction of glycol installations for Carlton United. ALLIED enabled Bracton to introduce a total range of draught beer dispensing equipment and associated products, for complete bar and cellar installations, built to brewery specifications. This move introduced Bracton to many firsts in the draught beer installation area including for the first time complete use of 304/316 stainless steel. This has now been adopted as standard by the Australian draught beer industry.
2007 – Bracton Commercial Dishwashers & Glasswashing
Saw Bracton introduce a complete European manufactured (Australian specifications/design) commercial dish washing and glass washing machine range. This included under counter glass washers, dish washers and pass through dish washers. The range included many firsts for the Australian market, and to date has been considered the most successful launch of a new wash ware range into the Australian market for the last 10 years, and the only machine to be readily sold and distributed through both Lion Nathan and Fosters Group.
2008 – SoSafe international
In 2008, So Safe Specialty Products began distribution through out Europe. So Safe products are now sold in The United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Hungary, Latvia, Germany and UAE. SoSafe products have been successfully sold in America & New Zealand since 1988.

2011- SoSafe Launches USA Office
Due to popular demand SoSafe has opened an office in California, USA to supply graffiti removers and degreasers to transport organisations, government departments and hardware stores across USA and Latin America.

2011 – Bracton Beer Python & Tube
Bracton joined forces with UKs’ BevEx to introduce the most advanced beverage python available in Australia. Bracton-BevEx Energy Smart Beverage Python significant reduces electricity consumption from beer systems by reducing heat loss through the use of special materials. The savings starting from 12% to venues switching to Bracton Python on installations, meaning the beer python pays for itself within a couple of years of operation, isn’t that smart? Why venue operators, breweries and industry experts prefer Bracton?
There are many bar and cellar cleaning products available both locally made and imported into Australia. Other products are measured against the performance of Bracton, and have yet to equal in both quality and performance. Due to volumes sold, Bracton has the ability to purchase only the HIGHEST QUALITY raw materials for manufacturing. This is evident in that Bracton has never recalled any products or received complaints pertaining to quality or performance of the products.
Bracton pioneered the two part beer line cleaning process, a far more superior method to single part cleaning products recognised across Australia and more recently New Zealand by all major breweries and industry associations. In a recent laboratory demonstration at Lion Nathan brewery in New Zealand, Bracton products were compared under identical conditions with other leading single part beer line cleaning chemicals. The results gave way to Lion Nathan and DB breweries moving to only recommend two part cleaning chemicals. Nothing else cleans like Bracton beer line cleaners!
Bracton glass wash detergent is the only NON-HAZARDOUS product brewery approved for both machine and hand wash use in Australia. No other chemical has improved on the quality of Bracton glass wash and its ability to provide a cleaner more hygienic glass, enabling improved head retention and better tasting beer every time.
